System Slowness
On Tuesday, August 6 2024 at approximately 12:01 PM EST, we experienced a 26-minute period of significant degradation in system performance. The application may have appeared inaccessible to users due to extended load times and, in some cases, caused user sessions to be logged out. The issue was the result of a temporary performance issue with a single database server, leading to cascading disruption across the broader database cluster and frontend instances. The issue was resolved at approximately 12:27 PM EST.
This issue causing system slowness has been resolved. We will follow up with more information on the root cause shortly.
